Research shows that music has a profound effect on the body and the human spirit. Music has healing properties that help relieve muscle tension and depression lifting. It has been used to help cancer patients, people suffering from post-operative, and even children with ADD. In recent years, music has been used as a powerful tool in therapy sessions to calm the mind and body of patients. Today's music is one of the most effective tools to induce relaxation.
In the current scenario, more and more victims of negative stress, it is a great demand for effective management of stress that people can use daily. This is where the music Unlike other stress management tools such as meditation, yoga, counseling or a massage, listening to music does not require time and investment. This is one of the reasons for its popularity as an effective tool for stress management.
According to doctors, relaxation music CDs and video can stimulate the activity corresponding to their beats in the brain. Accordingly, encourages contemplation and relaxation to soothing music. Alterations in brain activity caused by the music lead to widespread changes in other bodily functions. Thus, music has an impact on breathing and heart rate. Listen to relaxing music CDs and video leads to activation of the relaxation response in the body.
Music effectively neutralizes the harmful effects of extreme stress. It can reduce blood pressure, boost immunity and relieve tension in muscles. Slowing of respiratory and cardiac causes relaxation of the relaxed body. We even believe that music has the ability to reduce the risk of stroke and heart problems. These healing properties of music to explain the frequent use of relaxation music CD and video in therapy and counseling.
There is another reason why music can be effectively used for relaxation. Research has shown that music makes changes in brain activity that makes it easier for the brain to change in a state of calm and meditation more easily on their own when the need arises in the future. Therefore, music has a lasting impact on our response to stress. The power of music does not stop there. People struggling with large amounts of negative stress often experience frustration and anxiety. These reactions of negative stress can wreak havoc on the body, mind and life of people suffering from this disease. Music can be used to promote a positive mood in people who are stressed.

Music has the power, but the excitement and entertainment in mind

Music is powerful. If you have already seen the movie The Shawshank Redemption, remember the scene where Andy took up the volume, all the peoples of Shawshank stayed tuned. It is not just a song of a singer from an unknown, but, well, maybe a feeling of freedom and hope, regardless of who was a music lover or not.
Undoubtedly, music is a kind of entertainment people. While you enjoy the different types of music, everything is for one purpose: to entertain. We have music business and the entertainment industry. If you do not play music to entertain, why?
Music has the power. The initial energy and most obvious is the ability of music to evoke emotions. Some will try to find peace in music. Some like to dance with rhythmic music. And some people even consider it a way to show the amorphous collection of repressed emotions, feelings, pastexperiences and other wrecks.
Certain types of music can relax. After a stressful day at work, you would like to hear classical music, certain types of jazz, and songs of our favorite singers physically your body can relax and entertain our minds at least one of these days for a while. I love pop music and rhythmic songs, and I love rap music. However, I have heard in different situations. I know that you can understand why I will not listen to rap music or music when I'm terribly sad distracted.
You may notice that the music in the film may have an emotional effect while the seeing. While watching a horror movie, music can tell us when something of fear, threat or disaster will happen. However, for a novel, the producer may spend much money on music that can change the emotions of the audience, from moment to moment, from the first moment the paper are two principal at the end, happy or tragic.
With experience, and pass, people find that music can make a kind of interior space in which an experience can happen. Different types of music can lead listeners to experience a trip or a mental and emotional journey that seems very real to them. It's like a dream, but closer. That's why the scenes of the film with appropriate music can influence your mood when you know if it's only a movie.
Music has the power to heal your body, mind and spirit. The American Music Therapy in a recent study on the use of music therapy to find meaning in the way that can be cured. Patients with cancer rather than taking painkillers hear Broadway tunes. People with Alzheimer sing classic songs. Even pregnant women use music to help them breathe and relax during labor. Babies cry when they hear a lullaby. It not only benefits from these diseases, but other conditions associated with aging, substance abuse problems, brain damage, physical disabilities, acute and chronic pain, psychological disorders such as Down syndrome and the autism and people suffering from hypertension as well. Since music affects blood pressure much.
When someone hears the music lasts increases blood pressure and if you listen to classical music, lowers blood pressure soft and low. Interestingly, research has shown positive results.

The exceptional benefits of music for your health: Seven reasons to listen to music now

It's no secret that college students love music. Whether on your way to class, heading to the gym or hanging out with friends, music just makes us feel good. And depending on the style you choose, it can do everything from revving up your energy for a night on the town to calming your nerves before a big exam.

Music, though, is much more than a beat to tap your toes to or a tune to sing along with. Increasing numbers of studies are confirming that listening to music can have a real, positive influence on your health. Here are seven of the most significant health reasons to listen to some music today (as if you needed even one more!).

1. Relieve stress. In one study, patients who had just been told they needed surgery listened to a calming piece of music. Their levels of the stress hormone cortisol were 50 percent lower than patients who did not listen to any music, according to Roger W. Wicke, Ph.D, instructor in Chinese herbology and director of the Rocky Mountain Herbal Institute.

2. Increase energy. In some cases, such as during sports events or other high-intensity exercise, high levels of cortisol are desirable. Runners were able to produce high levels of cortisol faster when they listened to energizing music with a fast pace.

3. Learn better. Bulgarian psychologist George Lozanov found that students who listened to Baroque instrumental music (such as J.S. Bach) while learning a foreign language had an increased speed of learning and a greater degree of memory retention than those who did not.

4. Become smarter (at least temporarily). Researcher Frances Rauscher coined the term "The Mozart Effect." It refers to his finding that study participants who listened to 10 minutes of Mozart music performed 48 percent better on a paper-folding task that was part of an intelligence test. The effect lasted about 10 minutes.

5. Relax. Alfred Tomatis, a French ear specialist, found that listening to Baroque or classical music (particularly string instruments like the violin, viola and cello) induced brainwave patterns in humans that correlate with relaxation of muscle tension and calm attentiveness.

6. Sleep better. Adults with sleep problems who listened to 45 minutes of soft music at bedtime reported a 35 percent improvement in their sleep, according to a study published in the February 2005 edition of The Journal of Advanced Nursing. Not only did they sleep better and longer, but they also reported less daytime dysfunction.

7. Protect your heart. A new study in the journal Heart found that listening to fast music sped up participants' circulation and breathing rates while slower music induced calm and led to a fall in heart rate. When the music was paused, the participants' signals of arousal (breathing rates, etc.) fell below where they had been at the start of the study, which researchers say is helpful in protecting against heart disease and stroke.

How to relieve stress and anxiety Using music therapy for healing

We all live in stressful times right now, and music can help relieve stress. Music healing therapy also known as Binaural Beats, is music that has calming sounds like water and birds set to certain beats to stimulate the brain to relax.

In today's economy, people are more stressed out then ever before. It's been a long time since I've seen so many people worry about their jobs, their homes, everything. So I'm writing this article to maybe help someone out there, that is having it a little rough right now.

A few months back I too was stressing out about my job and my home, but a friend of mine told me about a site that has music that relieves stress, so I checked it out, and to my surprise it really works. I went on the site and they have a free sample (a ten minute music sample) that you can download to your computer, or MP3 player and try it for yourself, and it worked great, they have different music for what ever problems you may have such as depression, trouble sleeping, addictions, anxiety and much more.

So now that I got your attention I will explain how this music works. The music has what is called Binaural Beats. These beats are incorporated in the music, and they are set to different frequencies to stimulate your brain. Binaural Beats was discovered in 1893 by Heinrich Wilhelm Dove, and it works by broadcasting two different frequencies in each ear. The frequencies are set in the music, and are different for what ever problem you have, the music may sound the same, but are totally different. The music is soft and calming, with sounds of waterfalls and different types of animal sounds, it's like your out in the woods, it's great, very relaxing.

I love music, I grew up with music all around me, it always makes me feel good. But this music is very different, it makes you relax. When listening to this music you need to find a quiet place with no distractions, like your bedroom, also you need to put your headphones on and close your eyes and just concentrate on the music. I would not recommend listening to this when driving a car it's too relaxing. You can download music that is fifteen minutes long, a half hour long, and longer it's up to you. I feel that music healing therapy is the best way to relieve stress and anxiety. If you have stress in your life I highly recommend it.
